June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary

Current unofficial results will be updated next by 5pm Friday, June 19

  • The 1% Manual Tally is a hand count of at least 1% of polling place and mail ballots, which is used to confirm the accuracy of the machine tabulators. We posted a very short video that gives a peek into exactly how this was done for the June 2 primary election.

  • SLO County Elections team member Barbara Hurtado appeared on the radio show "En Confianza Con Laura" on April 17th to have a conversation in Spanish about the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election and voting in SLO County. We've added the interview to our YouTube channel for anyone who is interested in listening in.

  • We have our winners! Check out the four new student-designed stickers that will roll out during the upcoming primary election. SLO County voters will have two new "I Voted" designs, plus a "Yo voté" option and a "Future Voter" sticker for those who aren't yet old enough to vote. Congrats to the four talented young artists whose designs were selected this year!

  • Rooftop weddings are back! With spring comes a return to the option of having your wedding ceremony on the rooftop patio of the government center in downtown SLO.

We will also continue to offer Express Marriage Ceremonies for those interested in a streamlined civil marriage ceremony. This new service can accommodate up to three guests and can immediately follow the issuance of a marriage license.
