Penalties Waived on Late-filed Business Property Statements

County Property Tax Assessor Tom J. Bordonaro Jr. is pleased to announce that Governor Gavin Newsome has signed an executive order with a direct impact on the timely filing of Business Personal Property Statements for 2020.


No late file penalties will be applied for failure to file a business property statement on or before May 7, 2020. Late file penalties are suspended on taxpayers so long as the property statement is filed on or before Monday, June 1, 2020.
