• Uphold the laws of the State of California and respect the constitutional rights of all people
• Be conscious of my personal bias and act with objectivity while in my official capacity
• Respect the importance of all disciplines within the justice system and maintain effective collaboration
• Maintain an individual’s confidentiality while honoring the public’s right to information as permitted by law
• Represent the  Probation Department with professionalism and integrity
• Utilize best known practices in community corrections to better serve the public
