Notices Posted Pursuant to Legislative Codes

This section contains notices required to be posted in the Recorder's Office by various agencies in accordance with California state law. The postings, mandated under specific California Codes (such as CIV 1103, GOV 51179, and PRC 2621.9, etc.), are available for public viewing.

These notices may include information regarding public review and comment periods, the final adoption of hazard zones, and notices regarding the availability of hazard maps, along with other agency-related information. The postings ensure transparency and compliance with state regulations.

The notices can be viewed in our office or on our website. 

Please note that Seismic Hazard Notices are recorded pursuant to California Code PRC 2696; they can be found with our recorded documents available for viewing on the kiosk in our lobby under the name of the agency that recorded the notice. To access these official records outside of our office, you must purchase them through our self-service portal.
