Genoa Healthcare is a full-service retail pharmacy that specializes in behavioral health services. They offer vials, bubble-packing, dispill packaging, and free mail delivery of prescriptions. 

Yes. Genoa has translational phone services in many languages. They can print prescription labels with directions for use in Spanish. A pharmacist on site also speaks Spanish. 

Anyone can use this pharmacy. Genoa fills medications for Behavioral Health clients, employees, and the general public. 

The Genoa pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00PM and closed for lunch 12:30-1:00PM. 

The pharmacy is located in the Adult Mental Health Building at 2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 (in the Southeast corner of the SLO Health Campus). 

There are no special documents needed from your doctor. Just inform of your doctor of your pharmacy change and to send your prescriptions to Genoa. New consumers will have to fill out an enrollment form. 

There are no additional costs for services, just pay your copay. 

Customers may come into the pharmacy or call (805) 242-4051 to have prescriptions transferred from an old pharmacy. You should inform your doctor(s) of your pharmacy switch. 

Genoa offers free mail delivery. Let the pharmacy team know at any point that you would like your medications mailed free of charge. Pharmacy staff will call before mailing anything to confirm your address and medication. Only controlled substances require a signature upon arrival.

There is always a pharmacist available onsite during open hours. After hours, you can call the pharmacist with  questions at 844-965-0279.

Call 805-242-4051 to refill your medication. You can sign up for text message alerts notifying you when your prescription is ready.
