Who is eligible?

This service is available to any middle school, high school, or college student at participating schools. 

When and where is this service offered?

Specialists lead chapter meetings at San Luis Obispo County middle and high schools during lunch time or after school. While most meetings are in the classroom, students have the opportunity to help plan larger, off-campus events such as Mock Rock, Reindeer Run, and Spring Conferences. Learn more at SLOFNL.com.

Students who want to join FNL can learn when their school’s chapter meetings are by asking the FNL advisor at school, calling FNL at (805) 781-4289, or checking SLOFNL.com for meeting and contact information.  There is no need to sign up before, you can simply show up at a meeting!
 

Volunteer opportunities can be found at slofnl.com, or by calling FNL at (805) 781-4289. Individuals can volunteer for specific events, or can participate in on-going volunteer opportunities by joining the FNL Board of Directors.

No, FNL chapters meet on various days throughout the week, usually during school lunches. Each school chapter has a regular weekly meeting day, and plans campaigns and activities when it makes sense for the chapter and school.
