Campaign Finance Reports and Information Search
The California Political Reform Act requires candidates and committees to file campaign statements by specified deadlines disclosing contributions received and expenditures made. These documents are public and may be viewed using the Campaign Finance Disclosure Public Portal. The filings available online are redacted. Please contact the Clerk-Recorder office for unredacted versions.
Please note that this portal is not managed or maintained by the County of San Luis Obispo. It is managed and maintained by a third-party company that hosts campaign disclosure forms, documents and statements for local California governments. But if you need assistance, please contact the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
Who is eligible?
Anyone may use the portal to view and research candidates, committees and measures; get details on campaign contributions or campaign donations, campaign finance reports (also known as campaign contribution reports), campaign expenses and expenditures reports; review campaign statements filed by candidates and committees; or examine a committee’s filing history by election.
When and where is this service offered?
This service is available anytime online using the Campaign Finance Disclosure Public Portal. Unredacted documents may be viewed at the Clerk-Recorder office in San Luis Obispo during regular business hours except during County-observed holidays.
