BIP victim survey notifications are to be mailed or emailed to victim(s) in cases where BIP has been ordered for the defendant. The victim survey notifications are to be mailed or emailed to the victim(s) upon the defendant’s completion of BIP.

  1. When a probationer completes BIP, the program provider will submit a report to our Department.
  1. The assigned clerk will process and scan the completion in Monitor and forward to the deputy probation officer (DPO) assigned to the case.
  1. The assigned DPO will attempt to contact the victim(s) in the case to notify them of BIP completion and the pending victim survey.
  1. The assigned DPO will complete the victim survey notification found in the Monitor documents section and mail or email it to the victim’s listed address. The DPO will also document the mailing/emailing of the victim survey notification in Monitor journal notes.
