ASPC Advisory Support
ASPC is currently the acting advisory committee for:
Healthy Brain Initiative - The County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department was awarded funding from the California Department of Public Health Alzheimer’s Disease Program to implement Healthy Brain Initiative Roadmap activities locally in response to the high rates of Alzheimer's and dementia in our community. The Adult Services Policy Council (ASPC) will act as the advisory committee throughout the needs assessment, strategic planning process, and implementation. Public Health will collaborate with community partners, including the Alzheimer's Association Local Chapter and the Promotores Collaborative, to provide essential resources and strategies that promote brain health, detect early signs of dementia, and support caregivers.
