Commission on Aging

Maryanne Zarycka and Anita Shower
SLOCOA Co-Chairs

SLO COA Meeting and Mini-Senior Resource and Networking Event Wednesday June 26th!

This event (including a very short Commission business meeting) is in lieu of our regularly scheduled presentation meeting:

Set up for Members is at 9:30a and SHORT Commission Meeting will start at 10:00a (15 minutes max). We will have a shortened version of our business meeting to take care of minutes approval and vote in two new members.

The 'Presenter' tables are primarily for our Commission Members others are welcome to share space and tables as available.

Member Anita will be providing some snacks and drinks - other snack contributions are always welcomed!

We are encouraging others (public and agencies) to attend as guests to network, and share their info and resources with us and other attendees - that's the goal - resource networking and info sharing.

It is imperative that we spread the word to seniors and everyone who will benefit from our services. If anyone can help shuttle seniors to the event, that would be amazing too!

Meeting location for 2024:

DSS Building, 3433 South Higuera Street, Room #101, SLO
