Airplane Fueling and Maintenance
Airplane fueling and maintenance is available at both San Luis Obispo (SBP) and Oceano (L52) airports.
Airplane Hangar Rental
Airplane Hangars are available for rent on the San Luis Obispo McChesney Airfield (SBP). All of our hangars are “T” hangars, located on the east side of the airport (also known as Site November). These hangars have limited lighting and electrical outlets. There are two (2) restrooms available at the hangar site. Hangar availability is limited so please call (805) 781-5205 for more information.
Airplane Tie Downs Rental
We offer tie downs for your aircraft to rent on a monthly basis at both the San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP) and Oceano Airport (L52). San Luis Obispo (SBP) tie downs are located on both the east and west side of the airfield. Oceano tiedowns are located at the oceano airport next to fly in camping. Airport Badging
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has mandated Security Directives for all Part 139 airports. Under this directive, all individuals having unescorted access to the Airport Operations Area (AOA) will be required to have airport identification badges. The Airport offers a place for the public to file a noise comment or question. The citizens of San Luis Obispo County can call the hotline at (805)781-5898. Or SLO County Citizens can fill out the online noise comment form.

Monthly Airport Statistics Reporting
The Airport publishes, on a monthly basis, various performance statistics for the public. In these reports you will find Passenger Summaries, Landing Weights, Market Share, Tower Traffic, Cargo Traffic, Cargo Landing Weights, and Charter Service Passenger Summaries Reports. The reports are updated and posted about 25 days after the closing of each month.
Oceano Airport Fly-in Camping
The fly-in-only campsite is located next to the tarmac. There is a fire pit, and restrooms available, but no showers or laundry.
