Connecting Our Community: Updates, Priorities, and Partnerships for a Stronger South County


Supervisor Jimmy Paulding is excited to announce a series of *townhall events for District 4 residents, providing an opportunity for the community to engage directly with their local elected representative, receive key updates, and celebrate local achievements. These events aim to foster open dialogue, share priorities, and strengthen partnerships across the region.

“These townhalls are an important way for me to connect with residents, hear their concerns, and share updates on the work we’re doing to improve our communities,” said Supervisor Jimmy Paulding. “I encourage everyone to join, as your input is vital to shaping the future of South County.”

These events are free and open to the public. No registration required. Your participation helps shape the future of our community.

  • Arroyo Grande | February 27, 2025 | In collaboration with Mayor Caren Ray Russom Focus: Key City and County updates, an overview of Countywide and District 4 priorities, and joint Q&A.

  • Oceano | March 12, 2025 Focus: County-wide priorities, District 4 priorities, and updates specific to Oceano on key projects including safe routes to school improvements, levee reinforcements, Oceano park playground replacement, Oceano Airport,current Oceano CSD capital improvement projects, and more.

  • Nipomo | April 3, 2025 Focus: County-wide priorities, District 4 priorities, and updates specific to Nipomo on key projects including the Nipomo Sheriff’s Substation, community plan update, growth and development, and more.
