Meet Sarge, a handsome chocolate pointer mix who loves his treats.

Meet Sarge!  He is a handsome chocolate pointer mix who loves his treats. He walks politely for Animal Services volunteers and enjoys his time in the agility yard playing in the water trough and chasing tennis balls. He also knows some basic obedience like "sit" and is working on his "stay." When spending time in his kennel, he enjoys a nice Nylabone to chew. Sarge was found as a stray in San Luis Obispo.

If you are partial to hunting breeds and would like a new buddy to train and hang with, Sarge would love to join your family.

• Saturday—11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Half of Sarge’s adoption fee has been generously paid for by a donor.

Prior to adoption, all animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and licensed. They also receive vaccines appropriate for their age.
