WIC is here for you!
If you are pregnant, recently had a baby, or have a child under 5, WIC is here to support you & your family.
Complete the Welcome to WIC class and survey before your first appointment. You can choose to complete your lesson in English or Spanish
Get started:
1. Visit wichealth.org
2. Click the "Sign Up" button
3. Create an account and fill in the information. Remember to:
- Type in your 9-digit Family ID number
- Select the WIC Agency County of San Luis Obispo
- Select your WIC location
4. Create a profile
5. Click "Begin" to start or continue a lesson
6. Find a Lesson - select "I prefer to browse on my own"
7. Choose Welcome to WIC (first tile) WIC Orientation class for all new and returning applicants - complete the lesson and survey before your first appointment

What do I bring to my first WIC appointment?
1. Each person who will be enrolling into the WIC program and identification for yourself and any children under age 5
2. A document verifying your current address, such as a paycheck with your address or utility bill. If you don't have an address, let your WIC counselor know
3. A document verifying your current income, such as pay stubs or cash receipts before taxes for the past 30 days for all family members working in the household or active CenCal/Medi-Cal
4. Proof of pregnancy - if applicable

1. Log in to your wichealth.org
2. Click "Start Lesson"
3. Choose a lesson
4. Complete the lesson
5. Fill out the survey
6. Get WIC class credit
You will need to update your current profile with your 9-digit Family ID number. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your wichealth.org account
2. Click on "Edit Profile" on the right side of the screen
3. Check "Your WIC Information"
4. Select "Show/Update Family ID"
5. Enter your new 9-digit Family ID number
6. Click "Update"
When you sign up for wichealth.org, you can complete the Welcome to WIC lesson which is required for new and returning applicants to the program. It's a great way to learn how you can make the most of your WIC benefits.

- Click on "Trouble Signing In?" located below the "Log In" and "Sign Up" buttons and follow the steps
- Click on the orange "Help" or question mark button on the bottom of the screen and search your question

Find a WIC office nearest you.
To activate your new WIC Card and set a 4-digit PIN, call Customer Service at 1-844-469-3264 (back of the WIC card).
You will need to know:
- The 16-digit WIC Card number
- Your date of birth (two digits for the month and day and four digits for the year)
- Your mailing address ZIP code
- Choose a 4-digit pin that is easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess
- You will need the 4-digit pin to use your WIC Card at the store
