County Safety is managed by the County Safety Officer and is part of the Risk Management division of the Human Resources Department.

RISK MANAGEMENT MISSION STATEMENT

We collaborate with County Departments to protect financial stability and promote safe practices to ensure the health and welfare of employees and the public.

INTERNAL SERVICES PROVIDED

Safety:  Provide internal County Safety Education and Training, Safety Orientation, Safety Commission Meetings, Safety Modules for Departments, Ergonomic Evaluations

Self-Insurance: General Liability, Medical Malpractice, Unemployment, and Workers' Compensation
