Student Internships at the County of San Luis Obispo provide current students with:

What is the process?
Check if you qualify as a student intern
To qualify as a student intern, the applicant must be currently enrolled in college with a minimum of 8 units in the current semester or 12 units in the current quarter.
Submit an online application on NeoGov
The online application can be found on NeoGov. Please complete the application thoroughly.
Initial Application Review
Once your student internship application has been fully completed, an initial review of your submitted application will be conducted by the Human Resources Department.
Second Round Assessment
Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and are the best qualified candidates will be invited to participate in selection activities which may include online assessments, performance exams, written exams, and interviews.
Background Review
Final candidates will be required to have an in-depth background review performed before proceeding in the process. Please note references will not be contacted until the end of the process.

This service is available to students currently enrolled in college with a minimum of:
- 8 units in the current semester OR
- 12 units in the current quarter
When and where is this service offered?
This service is available throughout the year during regular business hours except during scheduled holidays.
