Regular walk-in hours are available on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:30 to 11:45 AM. Planning information sessions are limited to 15 minutes to accommodate as many people as possible. New building permit applications will only be accepted up to 11 AM to ensure adequate processing time.

In observance of the July 4th Holiday, all county offices will be closed on Thursday July 4th. The Permit Center will continue to be closed to the public on Friday July 5th, 2024. Scheduled inspections requested prior to 5 pm on July 4th will occur on Friday July 5, 2024.

Learn about factors that determine the minimum size for lots created through new land divisions in each land use category. Procedures and additional standards for dividing land are in Title 21. By refining the parcel size ranges set in the Land Use Element for each land use category, these standards determine site specific minimum parcel sizes for new parcels that are consistent with the General Plan.
