Purpose |
Establish a standardized method to produce and display name tags for Casa Loma, Prado, Court Hub and JSC. |

- All probation staff will have a Name Tag Plate and Name Tag with star logo prominently displayed outside of their office / cubicle.
- Name Tag Plates on doors will be installed at 63” high and 2” over from the door frame. Measurement will be taken from the ground up.
- Name Tag Plates on cubicles will be installed at approximately 61” high and 6” over from the end of the cubicle wall. Measurement will be taken from the ground up.
- The font Typeface is to be “Open Sans” per County directive http://myslo.intra/Admin/identity/Approved_Typography.htm. Font Size is to be between 48 and 66 depending on the length of a person’s last name.
- Names will be by First Initial, Last Name. In the instance of a duplicate name, middle initial will be added to differentiate between employees.
- Front desk staff will be responsible for ordering/installing/replacing/labeling Name Tags & Plates for new staff and/or staff that have been reassigned. Name Plates will be ordered through Office Depot. Item #586774.
- For new staff, the Unit Supervisor in that division and/or their delegate will notify the front desk where the office or cubicle new staff will occupy is located.
- Name Tag Plates will remain on the wall/cubicle when a staff is relocated.
- Name Tags will be removed by the outgoing staff and moved to their new location.
- Name tags are not to be modified for any reason.
