Purpose |
Establish approval process to allow access to County email outside of the County Wi-Fi network. This procedure is not applicable to Probation management employees. |

- Access to the Outlook app outside the County Wi-Fi network will be available to DPO IIIs and supervisors by request. Deputy Probation Officers may be eligible based on assignment (i.e. Placement officers)
- Access is voluntary and is not eligible for a data stipend.
- Eligible employees shall submit a Mobile Device Request e-form to the Chief Probation Officer.
- Employees shall select “Connect Employee Owned Device to County email and calendar system” under Request Type. Mobile Request e-forms shall include the reason(s) for needing the app when outside the County network.
- Upon receiving, a Mobile Device Request e-form, the Chief Probation Officer will notice the appropriate Chief Deputy or Department Administrator for their recommendation.
- Accessing emails through the Outlook App outside of approved work schedules is not authorized and will not be compensated.
