Pavement Management Report
Since 1997, the Public Works Department has maintained a formal pavement management program for documenting road conditions, forecasting pavement maintenance and scheduling maintenance funds for the road network.
The County Board of Supervisors established a vision statement promoting a safe, healthy, livable, prosperous, community and well governed community. This vision is incorporated into the preparation of this Pavement Management Plan. Having a well maintained road system enhances mobility throughout the County and addresses each of these communitywide results. A well-maintained road system supports multi-modal needs of the community and supports emergency response, tourism, commerce, agriculture and recreation. By prioritizing our efforts we have developed the Pavement Management Report to maximize the benefits to all road users.
