John L. Wallace Pays Restitution to Two Local Special Districts in Full

After being convicted of two misdemeanor counts of conflict of interest, John L. Wallace pays restitution to two organizations in full.
John L. Wallace, the former district administrator of the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District (SSLOCSD) and Avila Beach Community Services District (ABCSD), who was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of conflict of interest earlier this month, has paid restitution in full to two local Special Districts.
The convictions stem from his tenure as district administrator of the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District and general manager of the Avila Beach Community Services District . The two districts, SSLOCSD and ABCSD, received $18,097.70 and $41,626.87 respectively as restitution.
The conviction of Mr. Wallace was the result of a year-long investigation by the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office Public Integrity Unit.
