Murder Charges Filed Against Kejuan Guy Bynum (8/31/92) in Shandon Stabbing

District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that he has charged Kejuan Guy Bynum (26) with murder for the stabbing death of Cristopher Vento Wilson (23) that occurred in Shandon during the early evening of June 1, 2019.


Today, Kejuan Guy Bynum (DOB 08/31/92)  has been charged with murder for the stabbing death of  Cristopher Vento Wilson (23) that occurred in Shandon during the early evening of June 1, 2019.  Mr. Bynum's arraignment is scheduled for 8:30 am on June 26 in Department 3 of the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court.

It is further alleged that Bynum personally used a knife during the homicide and that Bynum was previously convicted of robbery (a violent felony under Califonria's Three Strikes Law) and has served two prior state prison terms; one for threatening a witness and another for resisting arrest by force or violence.  Bynum faces life in prison if convicted. 

The investigation is ongoing and no additional information can be released at this time.

This case is being investigated by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office and is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Delaney Henretty.
