ANNUAL REPORTS

Annual Reports serve as technical updates to the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) and are required to be submitted to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) by April 1 of each year following GSP adoption.

FINAL ANNUAL REPORTS

FINAL GROUNDWATER SUSTAINABILITY PLAN

On November 20, 2019, the Paso Basin Cooperative Committee voted unanimously to recommend the Paso Basin GSP for adoption by the four Paso Robles Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs).

The GSP was adopted by the four GSAs on the following dates:

  • San Miguel Community Services - November 21, 2019
  • Shandon-San Juan Water District - November 21, 2019
  • City of Paso Robles - December 17, 2019
  • County of San Luis Obispo - December 17, 2019

The final, adopted GSP was submitted to DWR by the January 31, 2020 SGMA deadline. DWR posted the Paso Basin GSP to the DWR SGMA Portal for a 75-day public comment period spanning January 31, 2020 to April 15, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the public comment period was extended to May 15, 2020.

 

Note: Public comments and additional GSP comments on the previous GSP Drafts are located here. Appendix N was updated on 11/15/2019 at 12:00 p.m. to include all public comments received through September 29, 2019.
