April Pet of the Month: Ivory

Meet Ivory! This sweet, calm, three-year-old pit bull doesn’t require a lot of activity. She’s looking for a home where she can hang out, cuddle, and keep you company.

Ivory gets along with everyone she meets and has made a lot of friends, both people and dogs. When not in the company of people and other doggie friends, this gentle girl enjoys napping and chewing on her Nylabone. She enjoys leisurely walks around the shelter but nothing too long because she suffers from a heart murmur. 

Ivory appears to be housetrained and is very easy on a leash. She even knows “sit” and “wave.” (Check out the video below!) She has beautiful blue eyes but may not hear very well. 

If you are looking for a calm, easy-going dog who doesn’t require a lot of activity but instead would rather hang out and keep you company, Ivory is your girl.
