Meet Muffin! A mature calico kitty seeking her next loving home.
Muffin is a 10 year old spayed female kitty who is very sweet and independent. She arrived at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Services shelter in July 2019 when, sadly, her owner passed away.
Muffin has a beautiful calico coat and half of her adoption fee has been waived. According to shelter staff, she enjoys her space but will actively seek out attention. She would enjoy a nice quiet home where can stretch her legs.
During the height of kitten season, San Luis Obispo County Animal Services had close to 2,000 cats and kittens go through the shelter. With the season not over yet, the shelter is still seeing a constant turnover of younger kittens finding homes, leaving older cats like Muffin overlooked.
