Community Work Service
When any Defendant is convicted of an offense and granted probation, the Court may order the Defendant to either pay a fine or perform community service hours. It may be performed in place of payment of certain fines and fees.
What is the process?
Community Work Service
Many local business and non-profit organizations offer participation in community work service hours. Your assigned Deputy Probation Officer can provide you with the necessary community work service sheets for documentation of hours. You can also download the community work service timesheet on our website.
Is there a charge for this service?
Community work service hours can be performed at a variety of places such as churches, parks, food distribution centers and shelters at no cost.
When and where is this service offered?
Community Service must be approved by your assigned Deputy Probation Officer.
