Huasna Townsite Bridge Replacement
The project will replace the Huasna Townsite Bridge over Huasna River. The project is at the south end of the Huasna Valley, near the intersection of Huasna Townsite Road and Huasna River Road. The bridge collapsed during the January 2023 flooding.
The new bridge project will likely be a reinforced concrete structure and will replace the existing bridge. A temporary bridge was installed to allow access to the area while the new bridge is being designed and constructed. The emergency work and replacement project is funded through the Federal Highway Bridge Program.
