Lopez Drive Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Arroyo Grande
The project is under construction. The project is retrofitting the existing bridge on Lopez Drive over Lopez Lake. The project is constructing a catcher bent system, new columns, and seismic cable restraints beneath the bridge.
Implementation of the project will improve the reliability of the bridge and the transportation corridor in the surrounding community.
During construction, at least one lane of traffic will be open at all times along Lopez Drive and no construction will occur on weekends. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. This project is in District 4.
