Fostering strong relationships between our department and the media is vital to a well-informed community and we consider the media our partners in communicating to the public. Connecting with the Public Information Officer is the quickest and most efficient way to get answers to meet media deadlines. The Public Works PIO can provide answers to your questions and connect you with the best source for interviews. We will do our best to respond to requests by phone or email within 24 hours. Please understand that because some of our staff work out in the field, it’s best to reach out at least a day before your deadline, if possible.
