North Coast Advisory Council thanks County Planner Airlin Singewald for his 11 years as the Planning Department's liaison to their Community.
At the October 1st Board of Supervisors Meeting, there was an impromptu presentation during the public comment period. Seven members of the North Coast Advisory Council (NCAC) presented County Planner Airlin Singewald with a framed picture of the Cambrian bluffs to thank him for his 11 years as the Planning Department’s liaison to their community. Airlin had recently been promoted to Division Manager within the Planning department and bade the Council farewell at their July 17th meeting.
The Advisory Council felt it appropriate to give Airlin the recognition in front of both the County’s leaders and the public to show their appreciation. NCAC Chairwoman Susan MacDonald spoke before the Board of Supervisors to say, “We thank Airlin for sharing his knowledge, his experience, his professionalism, his dedication to public service and to the North Coast, and most of all for his kindness and patience.”
District 2 Supervisor Bruce Gibson commented that, “In the time that Airlin had been the liaison to the NCAC it had been a pleasure to watch him grow in the role and interacting with the community.”
The North Coast Advisory Council represents the unincorporated communities of Cambria and San Simeon. Advisory Councils are composed of elected residents to make recommendations and provide additional avenues for public engagement on local projects and topics that are pertinent to their unincorporated areas.
