Gang member convicted of robbery with a gun at Costco parking lot

Today, November 15, 2018, a jury found Joshua Logan Myers (DOB 12/23/1998) guilty of second-degree felony robbery while using a firearm and for the benefit of a criminal street gang. He was also convicted of making criminal threats as a felony. Mr. Myers was charged after robbing an individual of personal property in the San Luis Obispo Costco parking lot on December 11, 2017.


Joshua Logan Gordon Myers (DOB 12/23/1998) was found guilty by a San Luis Obispo County jury today for the charges of second-degree robbery, with a special allegation for using a firearm, and committing the crime for the benefit of a criminal street gang. He was also convicted of making criminal threats.  All charges are felonies.  These charges stem from an incident in December 2017 where Myers robbed a mobile marijuana delivery service in the parking lot of the San Luis Obispo Costco. 

The case was investigated by the San Luis Obispo Police Department and the District Attorney Bureau of Investigation.  The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Lindsey Bittner.

Mr. Myers is scheduled to appear in Department 8 of the San Luis Obispo Superior Court for sentencing on January 17, 2019, the Honorable Matthew Guerrero presiding.
