Animal Euthanasia
Animal Services provides euthanasia services to the public for animals whose quality of life is no longer sustainable or whose behavior represents a safety risk to their owners and those around them. Please call in advance to schedule this service.
Who is eligible?
This service is available to all County of San Luis Obispo residents.
Is there a charge for this service?
| Dogs, cats, and most household pets | $45 |
| Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and pocket pets | $10 |
An additional fee is applied to those requests which also include the disposal of animal remains.

This service is available by appointment at the following times:
