Infectious Diseases

The Public Health Department partners with community medical care providers, laboratories, and the state to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. We investigate and follow up on reported cases and provide surveillance to reduce the spread of disease.  We also provide education and counseling to high risk populations and the public, as well as consulting services and post-exposure recommendations to medical providers.

The Department monitors and reports on a variety of diseases, including:

Disease Reporting
