Requesting a Be on the Lookout (BOL) for Law Enforcement to Arrest on a PC 1203.2

Due to probation holds no longer being in effect, the requested BOL must include information for the probable cause statement.  The probable cause statement shall be succinct, and clearly outline the violation in order to be accepted for booking.  The probable cause statements are read by the Judge the next day and the statement determines whether the probationer will remain in custody or released.  Examples would include the date the probationer failed to report or absconded, danger to the community, or other pertinent violation information.

The Legal Clerks will enter this information in the Notes sections of the BOL.
