How did we serve the community in FY 2018-19? The Annual Report highlights some of our accomplishments and challenges.

The County of San Luis Obispo government provided more than 700 public services last fiscal year, and a new report highlights some of important ways the County government and community worked to turn ideas into action.

The County published the “2018-19 Annual Report: Ideas into Action” last week online at www.slocountyannualreport.com, and staff present it to the Board of Supervisors at a public meeting on Tuesday, September 17.

“This report demonstrates our County’s culture of service, responsiveness and action,” said County Administrative Officer Wade Horton. “It gives the people we serve a status of their County government and showcases our accomplishments and the challenges we faced last year. It’s something we can all be proud of.”

The 33-page annual report is organized into five sections: Public Protection, Healing & Wellness, Land & Environment, Community, and Good Governance. The report demonstrates how the County impacted the local economy, protected local communities from fires, fought high-tech crimes, met basic needs, and expanded mental health services, among other accomplishments.
