Grant Funding from the County
American Rescue Plan Act Grant Opportunities
Organizations may apply for funding to respond to the negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 public health emergency. Through one-time funding from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the County of San Luis Obispo seeks to make available up to $500,000 for small business grants, $3 million for non-profits and up to $2.5 million in grants for organizations providing business technical assistance, workforce development, and job training. Organizations can apply for several grant funding opportunities offered by the County of San Luis Obispo. County Unincorporated Tourism Business Improvement District Local Area Grants
The County awards grant funding to one-time public projects, which could be part of a larger program, deemed by the Board of Supervisors to benefit the community.
The County awards grant funding to local programs that support and complement, but do not duplicate, the efforts of the County’s health and human services departments. The applicants must promote the optimal health, stability, independence and well-being of county residents.
