Cannabis Clean-up Ordinance Amendment

On September 26, 2023, the County Board of Supervisors directed staff to prepare a Cannabis Clean-up Ordinance Amendment. The Public Review Draft of the Cannabis Clean-up Ordinance Amendment is now available for review.
On September 26, 2023, the County Board of Supervisors directed staff to prepare a Cannabis Clean-up Ordinance Amendment consisting of three parts:
- Amendments to Title 22 and Title 23 modifying the expiration of permits to be five years from operational sign off, instead of five years from date of approval.
- Amendments to Title 22 and Title 23 updating the hours of operation for dispensaries (delivery only) located in unincorporated County areas to be consistent with State regulations (§15403).
- Amendments to Title 22 and Title 23 improving the way the County recovers abatement costs.
The Public Review Draft of the Cannabis Clean-up Ordinance Amendment is available for review in the link below. The ordinance amendment is tentatively scheduled for consideration by the Planning Commission at a public hearing on April 11, 2024.
