9.4 Menus Pursuant to Section 1463

Subject Menus Pursuant to Section 1463

  1. Menus shall be planned at least one month in advance of their use.  The menus shall be planned to provide a variety of foods considering the cultural and ethnic makeup of the facility, thus preventing repetitive meals.  A registered dietician shall approve menus before being used.
  2. If any meal served varies from the planned menu, the change shall be noted in writing on the menu.
  3. Menus, as planned and including changes, shall be retained for one year and evaluated by a registered dietician at least annually.
