Subject Food Service Plan Pursuant to Section 1464

  1. Per Title 15, Section 1464, the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Hall has an average daily population of less than 50, and does not employ or have a food services manager available. Therefore, the facility administrator shall prepare a written food service plan. The plan shall include, but not be limited to, the following policies and procedures:
    • menu planning
    • purchasing
    • storage and inventory control
    • food preparation
    • food serving
    • transporting food
    • orientation and on-going training
    • personnel supervision
    • budgets and food costs accounting
    • documentation and record keeping
    • emergency feeding plan
    • waste management
    • maintenance and repair
