Road Closure for Low-Water Crossing Repair on Airport Road

Paso Robles – The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will temporarily close Airport Road for repairs at the Estrella River crossing, approximately 7 miles north of the Highway 46 intersection.
Repairs will take place during working hours on April 14, 2025, through April 17, 2025. Please observe the detour during working hours.
Airport Road will be closed to through traffic between Estrella Road and Wellsona Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please refer to the map for location.
The project is part of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department’s storm recovery efforts. Storms starting in early 2023 caused damage to the road by eroding the road shoulder and threatening the stability of the concrete ford.
The road will be open from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. during the repair.
