Public Notice: Hearing for the Shelter Crisis Declaration Extension

A public hearing to consider the adoption of an ordinance extending the shelter crisis declaration.
On December 17, 2024, a public hearing will be held to consider the adoption of an ordinance to extend the County's local standards and procesures for the design, site development, and operations of emergency homeless shelters at public facilities.
The hearing will be held in the San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors Chambers, 1055 Monterey St., Room #D170, County Government Center, San Luis Obispo, CA. The Board of Supervisors Chambers are located on the corner of Santa Rosa and Moneterey Streets. At the hearing, all interested persons may express their views for or against, or to change the proposal.

Adoption of the proposed ordinance is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), in that it can be seen with certainty that the adoption of the proposed ordinance is not a project that may have a significant effect on the environment.
