The County wins an award for our implementation of NeoGov Learn, a Learning Management System (LMS).
The County was recognized at the 2018 NeoGov Conference in Las Vegas this month for its use of a new online employee learning management system (LMS). At the conference, the County was presented an award for “Best Managed Implementation of NeoGov Learn" and was recognized for our valuable feedback and suggestions, many of which have been incorporated into NeoGov’s suite of products.
In order to provide the public with the highest quality services, the County Human Resources Department works to develop already talented public servants. With this new system, the County is training employees more efficiently and effectively than ever before with a combination of online courses and in-person training.
After the award presentation, County staff provided ideas and suggestions for implementation to a variety of other jurisdictions – including the Los Angeles County Office of Education, the City of Carlsbad, the County of Stanislaus, and Maricopa County, Arizona.
For more information please review the July staff report to the Board of Supervisors.
Thanks to the core Learn implementation team Deborah Erb (HR Technology), Leslie Brown (Learning and Development Center), Mike Mesker (HR Technology), and Teresa McCarthy-White (Learning and Development Center).
