Cozy Winter Reading is all about warm blankets and lots of books.
San Luis Obispo County, CA—Readers are invited to start the new year with the Cozy Winter Reading program from County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries January 2 – February 10.
“Folks who enjoy a cozy reading vibe will get a fun way to track and celebrate their reading achievements this winter,” said Erica Thatcher, marketing coordinator for the libraries. “It’s all about warm blankets and lots of books.”
Kids, teens, and adults can visit any of the County’s 14 libraries to pick up a vintage-inspired library book card to track their titles. For every three books they read and rate, readers receive a small souvenir and an entry in a grand prize drawing for reading-themed goodies.
Cards must be submitted between January 2 and February 10 to be eligible for prizes.
“We’ve got so many great books on our shelves and eBooks available for download. We hope readers will borrow a little extra reading material for cold nights and rainy afternoons,” said Thatcher. “Books make winter better.”
Readers can visit SLOLibrary.org for more information about eBooks, getting a library card, or for more information about the Library’s 14 locations throughout the county.
