Libraries to Host "Dignity Drive" to Help Families in Need

To celebrate National Library Week the County of San Luis Obispo Libraries will be hosting a Dignity Drive, collecting personal hygiene products for those in need.
In honor of National Library Week, April 7 – 13, 2019 County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries will be hosting a Dignity Drive by collecting personal hygiene items for individuals in need. Donated items will be distributed by the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County to men, women, and children experiencing unstable living conditions throughout the County.
All library branches will be collecting full and travel-sized, unopened hygiene items including:
- Body Lotion: (Regular, Eczema)
- Icy Hot for pain
- Deodorant
- Diapers, Pull Ups, and Wipes
- Laundry Soap
- Oral Hygiene
- Feminine Hygiene
- Laundry Soap
- Disposable Razors
- First Aid Supplies
- Underwear
