The County of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department invites you to participate in a Public Workshop to help determine park needs in the Nipomo Area.
County Parks engaged the services of GreenPlay LLC, a nationally renowned park and recreation consulting firm, to help conduct a Countywide Needs Assessment for park and recreation services. As a component of the planning process, County Parks is conducting a Public Workshop to present the Nipomo area findings from the focus groups, stakeholder interviews, inventory and level of service analysis, and the countywide Parks and Recreation survey.
Participants will be presented with the information, gathered through the public input process, on the extent to which county parks, recreation facilities, programs, and services meet the needs of the Nipomo community. During the workshop participants will be asked to help identify the Nipomo community’s park, recreation and open space needs so we can actively pursue projects to meet those needs.
The public workshop will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 6:00 PM, at the Nipomo Community Services District Board Room (148 South Wilson Street, Nipomo, CA).
We thank you in advance for participating. Your input will help guide the future of your County Parks and Recreation Department and improving the quality of life in our community for generations to come.
