Provide guidelines for drafting Board of Supervisors resolutions recognizing employee retirements. |

Employee Retirement Resolution Procedure
- Peace officers or non-sworn employees with 25 years or more of county service will be entitled to a formal Board of Supervisors resolution and presentation.
- Peace officers or non-sworn employees with 20 – 24 years of county service will be entitled to a Board of Supervisors resolution on the consent agenda with no presentation.
- Each Chief Deputy Probation Officer will be responsible for confirming with any retiree in their division if they would like a resolution. Chief Deputies will draft the resolution.
- Any plaque for peace officers will be handled by the SLOCPPOA and include the mounting of the officer’s current badge.
- The Chief Probation Officer will be responsible for the replacement badge.
